No Big Deal, I've Got Abs of Steel. Wait, What?

Three words. The Lady Okie. If you haven't ever read her blog you should, because she is hilarious. This post made me laugh so hard! So, Amanda has a monthly runner's link-up. Let's be honest, I like to pretend I'm a runner, but I'm not sure if I could officially term myself as a runner, since I technically can't run a complete mile. No big deal, I've got abs of steel. Wait, what? Not really, but I'm going to pretend I do.

Today's runner topic is runner's gear. I was all over this! I have come to really enjoy doing style shoots and getting to run around in work-out cloths is basically amazing. However, when we did this shoot, I was all like, "how am I supposed to pose for this?" I couldn't just stand there and smile, it was a perfect situation to feel like a goober. So, you know, I walked around, did some yoga moves, some stretching, and even some running.
Wearing: Brooks Epiphany Shorts // Asics Razorback Singlet // Nike Running Shoes (that are a million years old) similar.

What are some of your favorite running/work-out gear?

  3. Love your honesty- but you did great! :) These photos are cute!
Wearing running clothes is the main reason I do go running...for real. I love the shorts so much. And the shoes. Yep. It's why I run!

Hope you have a great weekend!

  8. You are the cutest! I am by no means a runner, I also can barely run a mile... But I want to be one so bad!! I try. :) I'm in the market for a neon pair of running shoes, I would like to think they would motivate me.

  9. First time here! Wish I could get back into running. I can run for a short time but then my shins start to hurt. Been like this for over a year. Love your blog by the way.

    1. Thanks so much for stopping by! That sinks about the shin splits! I wish I could over some words of wisdom, but I'm don't know much about running.

  10. Just found your blog and have to say…I'm with you! I so so so wish I could consider myself a runner, and I'm working on it (I ran a 10k last fall!), but it's way too easy for me to skip workouts and runs, so I feel like I'm lacking in the dedication department...

    1. Total props to your 10K! I haven't done any races yet. It's hard for me to simply run, I get discouraged when I get tired quickly. I've been upping my running game lately and have been pleasantly surprised when I'm able to run a little longer. I love hiking and running around like a nut all over the mountain too, so hopefully that counts! :)

  12. I like your running outfit! I think running gear is some of my favorite stuff to wear all the time, not just when I'm running. I will buy cute and stylish running tights that I can turn into a cute outfit at other times. =)

Thanks for linking up with us.
